Talaash Movie Review - Talaash (2012 Film)

Bathed during a noir-like moodiness, Talaash, directed ably by Reema Kagti, opens with a leisurely paced paste-up of metropolis when dark. Wafting across the neon-lit aggregation of seedy bars, the camera pokes its head into the backrooms of brothels wherever prostitutes do up before heading bent on ply their wares. Crummy-looking pimps court prospective purchasers for his or her women, Associate in Nursing previous poverty-stricken girl stares without expression huddled during a streetside corner, whilst urchins faucet hopefully on taxi windows. this can be a aspect of a town we have a tendency to fleetingly encounter and however it rarely registers in our lives. What Kagti conveys through Talaash is that this can be a living-breathing strata of our society, and these individuals should matter - they be humanity and compassion.
